In this introductory presentation our expert will explain the structure and function of the Department for Medicine of the Elderly at Cambridge University Hospitals. He will outline the criteria for patients to be managed by the service, as well as the relationships of the geriatric unit to the other departments of the hospital, as well as to outpatient clinics, primary care, home care and long-term care.
