Geriatric Series - The Geriatric Syndromes - Delirium

While the prevalence of delirium in the community is relatively low, in acute and post-acute settings up to half of the >85yo may be affected. Early detection of delirium and appropriate management has been shown to reduce complications, institutionalisation and mortality. In this session we will discuss common causes of delirium, diagnosis and management.
