Adam Hatzidakis is Associate Professor of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at PAGNI University Hospital in Heraklion, Medical School of Crete, Greece. He is an experienced Interventional Radiologist, well known among the international scientific society and has delivered more than 100 invited lectures in numerous international congresses. He has published over 75 peer-review articles in his field. His main Clinical interest is Interventional Radiology of the Hepato-Bilio-Pancreatic system, percutaneous biliary endoscopy and lithotripsy, TIPS procedures, intra-arterial Embolizations and Chemo-Embolizations, Radio-frequency/Microwave Ablation, and various Non-vascular Abdominal and Musculoskeletal Interventions. He is a board certified practitioner of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (EBIR-European Board of Interventional Radiology). He is a Fellow of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (FCIRSE) and a Fellow of the European Society of Abdominal and Gastrointestinal Radiology (FESGAR). He has served in numerous leadership positions and scientific committees of the major Radiological societies of Europe and is part of the editorial board of international radiology peer-review journals.
