I did my medical degree in Pondicherry, India, before coming over to the UK in
2002. I did my anaesthetic training in the East Anglia region and Paediatric
anaesthesia fellowship in Glasgow.
I have been a Consultant Anaesthetist at Cambridge University Hospitals since
2009, where my special areas of interest are Neuro anaesthesia and Paediatric
anaesthesia.
I got interested in electronic record keeping in 2014, and I was pivotal in the
build and development of Anaesthesia platform in the EPIC electronic health care
software, right from the planning stages in 2015. I am still involved in
troubleshooting and continuous enhancement of this EPIC Anaesthesia software.
Cambridge University Hospitals was the first hospital in the UK to go live with
this EPIC software, till recently when University College London Hospitals
adopted it in April. I was also involved in helping the UCL team in their planning,
build and launch of EPIC Anaesthesia software.
