UKeMED respects your privacy and personal information, which is being provided only to UKeMED, unless we specifically state otherwise. We will never sell, rent or give away your information (name, address, email, etc.) to any third party. UKeMED will not disclose your personally identifiable information to any person or company except where you have given UKeMED permission to do so or if the law requires it.

If you choose to give your name and email address into one or more of our site's registration forms, then we will send you emails relating solely to communicate information on Continuing Medical Education (CME) and various educational activities that may be of interest and for no other purpose. You may opt out of receiving future mailings from our mailing lists by using the unsubscribe option or other means provided within the communications that you receive. UKeMED does not tolerate spam and will not send you unsolicited emails.

There are three ways in which we collect personally identifiable information through our online CME Community on our website www.ukemed.com:
a. The first is upon signing up for the community, whereby a user provides a name, address, email address, telephone number, credentials, and areas of interest. This information is stored in a database.
b. The second way we collect information is when an online user completes an educational activity and applies for CME credit. This information is stored in a database so that the Centre may track the number of online CME participants who wish to obtain CME credits. This record-keeping is required by the Internal Governance regulations for Continuing Medical Education.
c. The third way we collect personally identifiable information is during enrolment for our email update service. Users are asked to provide contact information in order to receive alerts relating to online CME activities, including surveys so that the Centre can meet the greatest need and interest of the community. An opt-out form enables news alert subscribers to unsubscribe at any time.

In order to prevent unauthorised access, UKeMED uses strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given. UKeMED takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the security of personal data stored on our system.
